Raina Megert, Research Coordinator of Finance and Operations

Raina collaborates with faculty, staff, and school districts to plan and implement research-oriented events and activities. She assists with easyCBM Teacher Edition customer service, and manages its financial arrangements.

Raina also serves as the management and organizational component of BRT. Raina earned her B.S. in General Science, Exercise and Movement Science, and Accounting from the University of Oregon.

 

 

 


Aaron Glasgow, Director of Technology, Educational Ecommerce Marketplace and Innovations

Aaron is a technology leader with 25 years of experience building and scaling software, data, and e-commerce platforms. As Director of Educational Ecommerce Marketplace and Innovations at Behavioral Research and Teaching (BRT) at the University of Oregon, he leads the technology that delivers research-based assessment tools to educators nationwide. He helped launch BRT’s flagship platform, easyCBM, in 2006 and has been involved in its continued evolution ever since. Over the course of his career at BRT, he has grown from developer to director, leading teams and initiatives that combine software engineering, data systems, and product innovation to solve complex educational challenges.

Aaron has also served as a developer or technology director on numerous OSEP/IES-funded projects and contracts with several state departments of education. What drives him is curiosity. He enjoys digging into difficult problems until the underlying patterns become clear, then bringing together software, people, and processes to create capabilities and efficiencies that didn’t exist before.

Aaron’s work spans the full technology stack, including software architecture, DevOps, AI-assisted development, cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Oregon State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two kids.


Alex Schumann, Analyst Programmer III

Alex started at BRT in the summer of 2021, Alex brings 25 years of experience creating computing solutions to fit the needs of everyday people. He has special interests in web application development, databases, cloud systems architecture, and open source.

Previously Alex has worked with zebrafish research, physics, astronomy, hardware validation, and university housing.

Alex received a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Oregon State University. When he is not sitting at the command line or parenting 4 kids, Alex enjoys hiking, 3d printing, electronics, and Minecraft.

 

 

 


Joshua Hudlow, Product Support Specialist and Marketing

Joshua joined BRT in 2025, he currently spearheads customer service support while providing creative marketing and sales direction for the easyCBM Teacher Edition. Joshua specializes in sales and business management with over 20 years of experience.

Joshua also provides product support for other BRT applications such as CBMSkills and Oregon Extended. Joshua earned his Associate’s degree in Computer Science from Coconino Community College and in his free time, loves to travel to new places, watch movies, play video games, and is a baseball fanatic!
